What is a TOC analyzer and why is TOC analysis crucial?


A TOC analyzer (total organic carbon analyzer) is a high-precision measuring device for determining the total organic carbon content in water. TOC analysis has established itself as the gold standard for assessing organic pollution in a wide variety of water types – from ultrapure water in semiconductor production to wastewater in sewage treatment plants.
The organic carbon content is a key indicator of water quality, as it provides information about the concentration of organic contaminants.
